repat.ch connects sellers and buyers. Payment, transport and warranty are settled between them: repat.ch is never a party to the sale.

Prices
Prices are quoted excluding VAT, in the seller's currency. The VAT-inclusive amount on a listing applies the standard rate of the seller's country, for guidance only. Conversions into your currency are approximate and marked with “~”.

These terms exist in French, English, Dutch and German. If the versions differ, the French version prevails.
- 1.
The service. repat.ch is a classified-ads site. It is neither seller, buyer nor agent. It collects no payment and is never a party to the sale.

Who can use it. The site is for professionals and semi-professionals in events and live entertainment, whatever their status: company, sole trader, association, public body, or individual with a regular practice. You are an adult and your details are accurate. Your account is personal: you are responsible for what is done with it.

Your listings. You alone are responsible for what you publish: description, price, photos, legality. You have the right to sell the equipment and to use the photos. No counterfeits, no stolen or prohibited goods, no equipment located outside Europe. At your request, repat.ch may create your account and publish your listings for you, based on the information you provide: you remain responsible for them. When repat.ch publishes listings on your behalf, based on information you have made public, this is a free, best-effort service. Please check these listings and report any error to us: we will correct it promptly. To the extent permitted by law, repat.ch cannot be held liable for transcription errors.

Display order. By default, listings are shown from newest to oldest. During the site's launch phase, this order may be replaced by an automatic shuffle, renewed at regular intervals (every few hours) and identical for all visitors, so that every listing gets seen. To keep the view varied, listings from the same seller are not shown consecutively beyond a set number. No seller, including the site's publisher, receives preferential ranking. On a seller's page, the order is the one chosen by that seller.

The sale. The contract is concluded between seller and buyer, without repat.ch. An offer made on the site commits neither buyer nor seller: it opens a discussion, and the seller remains free to accept it or not. Check the equipment before paying. repat.ch guarantees neither condition, conformity, delivery nor payment. Disputes are settled between the parties. A listing is an invitation to get in touch, not a binding offer. Price and description are indicative: a sale is only concluded once the seller has confirmed the price and the equipment. An error in a listing does not oblige the seller to sell at that price.

Moderation. repat.ch may refuse, suspend or remove any listing or account, at its sole discretion and without notice. No compensation is due. To report a listing: contact@repat.ch.

Liability. The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability or freedom from errors. To the extent permitted by law, repat.ch is not liable for damages arising from use of the site, from content posted by a member or from a sale between members.
- 8.
Content. You remain the owner of your texts and photos. You allow repat.ch to display, automatically translate, adapt and share them (social networks, link previews) to promote your listing. The site itself may not be copied or scraped.
- 9.
Changes. repat.ch may change these terms. The version in force is the one shown here, with its date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
- 10.
Governing law. Belgian law. In case of dispute, the courts of Walloon Brabant (Belgium) have exclusive jurisdiction.
Personal data
- What we keep: your name and e-mail, the language in which you browse the site (to write to you in that language), your location if you provide it, your listings and photos, your offers, your favourites and searches while signed in, the photo analyses you run to publish, and technical connection data (IP address, browser). On your listings, the public sees your business page name if you have one; otherwise, for a business, its name; for an individual, only their first name and last initial, or failing that their partly masked e-mail address.
- Why: to run the site, put you in touch, suggest listings that match you, keep you informed of our news and offers, and prevent abuse. To show prices in your currency, we use your account's country or, failing that, the country inferred from your IP address on our own servers, without storing it. To assist you (for example to correct a listing published for you), a repat.ch administrator may access your account; every access is logged. Your data is never sold or rented.
- Messages and offers: the contact form forwards your message and your e-mail address to the seller, who replies to you directly; repat.ch does not read it and keeps no copy. An offer (amount, optional note) is kept and forwarded to the seller with your e-mail address; the public only sees the amount, never your name. If, without an account, you tick the “news and deals” box on the contact form, we keep your e-mail address and the site language, with the date and IP address of your consent, to send you our news and offers until you unsubscribe.
- Activity log: for site security and abuse prevention (fraud, spam), we record your sign-ins, the publication, editing and deletion of your listings, the creation of your account and of your business page, as well as the fact that an e-mail was sent to a seller from a listing (listing, sender's e-mail address, date and time — never the content of the message), together with the IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its members. This data is kept for 6 months, including if the account is deleted in the meantime, then erased automatically. Only the repat.ch administrator has access to it.
- Photos and descriptions: when you publish, the photos may be analysed by an artificial-intelligence service to pre-fill the listing. A listing's description is translated automatically by the same type of service for visitors who read the site in another language; the original always remains available.
- E-mails: repat.ch may write to you about your account and your listings. As a member, or as a visitor who asked for it, you may also receive our news, offers and new listings likely to interest you. Each of these e-mails includes a one-click link to stop receiving them.
- Providers: hosting and storage in the European Union, e-mail delivery, Google sign-in if you choose it, image analysis and translation by artificial intelligence, geocoding, audience measurement (Google Analytics, with your consent), protection of the sign-in form against bots (Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives your IP address and technical information about your browser). Some are based outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR. Full list on request.
- Cookies: technical (session, language, currency, remembering your cookie choice) and, only if you accept them, audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics) to know how many people visit the site and which pages. No advertising cookies. You can change your mind at any time via “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page.
- How long: as long as your account exists. It is deleted on request.
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection. Write to contact@repat.ch. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
